Silver Series

Ball

Ah yes, I remeber these. In the Game & Watch Ball game, the main goal is to make Mr. Game & Watch juggle a series of balls by pressing the left or right button. Game A has two balls, and Game B has three balls.

Flagman
The only goal of this game is to match the number of flags that the computer does, and to see how high the score can go to.

The brilliant handheld, the Nintendo Game Boy, was released in 1989, with the hit game release of Super Mario Land. The Nintendo Game Boy had 2-D "Dot-Matrix" graphics. The funny thing about the graphics though, they were a greenish color. Anyway, the Game Boy was a huge success on Nintendo's part, and it even ran the Atari Lynx and Sega Game Gear out of the market.

Nintendo Game Boy Play It Loud

The Nintendo Game Boy Play It Loud was released in 1995. The Play It Loud! Game Boys kind of introduced the colored Game Boys. Back in 1989, The Nintendo Game Boy came in only one color: gray. Not anymore. The Nintendo Game Boy Play It Loud, believe it or not, had some significance after all.

Nintendo Game Boy Pocket

The Nintendo Game Boy Pocket was released in 1995. The Nintendo Game Boy Pocket had a great advantage over the Nintendo Game Boy for the Game Boy Pocket had black and white graphics, and the graphics were not dot matrix (making the screen easier to focus on.)

 Nintendo Game Boy Light

The Nintendo Game Boy Light was obviously released in Japan only, in 1997. Of course, the first Game Boy to have a back-lit screen didn't come out here. Like the Nintendo Game Boy Pocket, it took two AAA batteries and played Original Nintendo Game Boy Cartridge Games.

The Nintendo Game Boy Color was released in 1998. It was the first Game Boy to play video games in color. The Game Boy Color required two AA batteries to play. The cartridges were very cool. They were clear. Not only that, but it was even more fun to play original Game Boy games on the Game Boy color because it would transfer the graphics into, well, color graphics.

The Nintendo Game Boy Advance was released in 2001. The Nintendo Game Boy Advance had 32 bit graphics. Due to this, many classic remakes of video games were made for this handheld. The cartridges were smaller also, a small black rectangle.

The Game Boy Advance SP was released in 2003. This Game Boy was obivously super portable (SP) , and was the first American Game Boy to have a back lit screen.
